HelpAtlas:India Helplines Privacy Policy

Last updated: 14 June 2026

HelpAtlas:India Helplines is an offline reference app that helps users find public helpline numbers across India.

1) Information we collect

HelpAtlas does not require account registration and does not collect, transmit, or sell personal information. The app does not collect personal data such as your name, email address, phone number, location, contacts, or device identifiers.

2) Data stored on your device

If you use Favorites or Recent, those entries are stored locally on your device using on-device storage. This data is not uploaded to our servers and is not shared with third parties.

3) Phone calls

When you tap a number, HelpAtlas opens your phone dialer using the selected number. HelpAtlas does not record, monitor, or store your call audio.

4) Helpline data accuracy

Numbers are compiled from official government sources and public directories. Numbers may change without notice. Always verify critical numbers with official authorities. In life-threatening emergencies, dial 112.

5) Third-party services

HelpAtlas does not include advertising SDKs, analytics trackers, or third-party personal data collection tools. The app does not request access to your camera, microphone, location, contacts, or SMS.

6) Children

HelpAtlas is intended for general audiences. Child helpline entries (for example, 1098) are provided for reference only.

7) Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the app evolves. The “Last updated” date above reflects the latest version.
